Lenovo is planning to launch 12 inch netbook IdeaPad S20

DigiTimes reported that Lenovo is preparing a new 12 inch netbook called IdeaPad S20. It will feature the new Intel Atom N280 processor, the Intel GN40 chipset, and Microsoft Windows XP.
Lenovo is reportedly losing preferential price for the N280 processor because they’re bundling the Atom processor inside a system with a 12 inch display which breaks Intel’s restrictions for netbook products. This translates to a 10 dollar price increase – or Lenovo purchasing the Atom processor at the official list price.
The S20 is expected to be priced at around $586. No exact date on when to expect the IdeaPad S20.
