Acer & ASUS delay NetBooks release until 2010

Acer & ASUS are reportedly will frozen the release of NetBooks in the second half of 2009 until Q2 of 2010. The cause of delay is Intel’s decision to postpone the launch of the Pine Trail-M platform – of which the Atom N450 processor is a part – until Q1 2010.
Acer will also postpone the release of dual-OS NetBook which is previously reported to launch in August of 2009.
According to industry sources, Acer & ASUS are planning on focusing their attentions on the ultra-thin notebook segment.

This is so sad, I’m waiting for the dual-OS released in netbooks since it was announced.
